Thomas Micah Haggerty
An alumnus of New York City’s Ross University School of Medicine and the British Institute of Homeopathy, Dr. Thomas Micah Haggerty is a retired physician. During his medical career, Dr. Thomas Micah Haggerty completed numerous clinical rotations at many respected hospitals. His experience includes a rotation in psychiatry at Camarillo State Mental Hospital in California. Dr. Haggerty also fulfilled rotations in pulmonary and infectious disease, cardiology, and internal medicine at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield. His experience also includes rotations in pediatrics, obstetrics, and gynecology at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York.
His undergraduate studies included a year at National University, San Diego, where he studied physics on an Edward H. Kopf, M.D. Scholarship. Dr. Haggerty earned his Ph.D. in Health Care Administration from Los Angeles’ Pacific Western University (now California Miramar University). A retired Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, his military experience proved useful for his dissertation, “Basic/Common Military Field Medical Guide and Procedures.” He also holds a D.C. from Cleveland Chiropractic College-Los Angeles. Previously, he attended San Diego Mesa College, pursuing dual majors in life science and liberal arts. Dr. Thomas Micah Haggerty earned an Associate’s degree in both subjects and regularly appeared on the dean’s list for his solid academic performance.
With membership in the California Rifle and Pistol Association, Dr. Haggerty serves as a life member of the National Rifle Association. Dr. Thomas Micah Haggerty is also a member of the Heritage Foundation.
Dr. Haggerty completed four years of active duty in the U.S. Navy before transferring to the U.S. Army Reserve. Dr. Thomas Micah Haggerty also served in the Army National Guard and State Military Reserve.
