Employed by Professional Systems Engineering, LLC. and having 21 combined years of distinguished service as a justice facilities practitioner with specialization in policy and procedures, security, and correctional technologies. I was responsible for the day-to-day operations of a large county Detention Center ensuring security and operations were not impeded. This experience afforded me the opportunity to work closely with government officials, law enforcement officers at all levels, as well as with security professionals, architects, engineers, and policy makers while overseeing security enhancements for numerous new construction and expansion projects. My knowledge and expertise of physical security, digital security, detention hardware, access control, perimeter detection, video surveillance, and control room design is based on my 18 years of providing hands-on training, administration, and daily operational experience . My site expertise includes ultra-high security access control, fencing, perimeter detection, and surveillance. I am trained in emergency management, security policy and procedures, post order development, assessments, and fire code requirements.
