Thomas Rucker Methvin is a big fan of the game of chess, believing that it can help people to develop their minds in addition to providing the opportunity to meet likeminded people. He was a part of his school’s Chess Club when he was in the 12th grade and he regularly took part in tournaments that allowed him to learn more about the game and meet new friends.
