My name is Thomas van Schaik. I firmly believe that Sports have the power to change the world. It has driven me to dedicate my working life to the ‘Why’ of sports. By now, I’ve gathered vast sports industry experience, working with many of the world’s most famous athletes, ranging from All-Stars and Olympians to World Champions, and with governing bodies, sports teams, and many of the world’s most significant events and competitions.

As Chief Commercial Officer of the Dutch Olympic Committee and Global Brand Director at sporting goods giant Adidas, I was responsible for developing global, award-winning marketing campaigns and international athlete icon-building programs.

Today I run a boutique, purpose-driven sports marketing consultancy, coaching brands, and elite athletes worldwide. I speak at international conferences and lead workshops with various companies, sports organizations, and universities. In my talks and workshops, I focus on brand building, athlete activation, and fan engagement. I’m currently authoring a book titled ‘The Athlete Brand Book.’
