One of my main interests is cooking, I enjoy baking cakes, including lemon drizzle cake, victoria sponge and plain marble cake.

I have been cooking since the age of six and have often cooked for my family. The meal I most enjoy cooking is courgette and brie soup, followed by shepherd's pie, with beetroot and any dessert, possibly a sundae.

I have studied catering at college, the kitchen and front of house aspects of the course I found particularly enjoyable.

Taking a catering course at college has encouraged me to pursue a career as a chef. To succeed as a chef I would have to gain some experience in a kitchen before moving up.

Another interest of mine is films, I enjoy watching and collecting DVDs at one point I had a over 300 DVDs in my collection.

Action and history films are among my favourites, Troy and 300 being great examples of the type of films I enjoy.

I recently attended a youth construction course which included joinery, plastering, tiling, plumbing and decorating, I completed the course and found picking up new skills fairly easy.
