For over two decades I have studied and taught movement. First as a martial arts student and teacher, and from there yoga, weight training, and conditioning.
In spite of this background, life happened and I found myself gaining weight fast and feeling out of breath just walking up the stairs in my house. Determined to reverse this, I devoted myself to studying every aspect of fitness and nutrition.
At nearly 40 my new found exercise strategies had me stronger and better conditioned than I had ever been in my life. Friends and family started seeing the difference and asked me to teach them what I was doing.
But, the workouts were only part of the story. Eating "real food" with the proper balance of macronutrients was also a key.
Eventually, it was time to change careers and only one option made any sense – going pro at what I had done as an amateur for so long by becoming a trainer and fitness coach.
I train people in person in Lansing, Michigan and coach clients online anywhere in the world.
