Holding a master of arts in teaching from the College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska, Thor Larson recently worked as a math teacher at Millard North High School. Thor Larson's responsibilities included creating and implementing daily lesson plans, attending departmental meetings, and overseeing classroom management, the study hall, and homeroom.

Now pursuing his passion for swimming, Thor Larson serves as the head coach and general manager for iNspire Action Sports, where he helped the group's swim team grow from 6 to 69 athletes in a span of 3 years. As coach, Mr. Larson assists in the development of swimmers for regional and national competitions, at the same time formulating programs to improve the mind, body, and spirit of the athletes.

A multi-awarded swimmer, he was recognized as Senior Coach of the Year by Missouri Valley Swimming in 2000. Under the same local swimming committee, he was named Zones Head Coach in the years 1998, 1999, 2001, and 2002.

During his spare time, Mr. Larson pursues a variety of hobbies including attending dog shows and collecting coins.
