Ron Furman was born in Haifa, Israel. He got involved in the film and television industry at the age of seven when he began his career as an actor in numerous theatrical and television productions, which later inspired him to become a filmmaker. Ron’s early films attributed him with instantaneous recognition in his field, which allowed him to gear his creativity towards working on projects that truly mattered to him (Politics, religion, Army, Anti-Semitism, Arab-Israeli conflict etc). After some time being second in command at a notable Canadian production company, Ron had decided to spearhead his own ideas by founding Thorn Films Inc in 2003. Making movies is his passion, but making a difference has always been his ultimate goal. Ron is a graduate of the Hollywood Film Institute in Los Angeles and the Broadcasting & Television Program at Seneca College-York University in Toronto, Canada
