Ryan Thornton

Third year international business student at Algonquin College.

I have been building my education here at Algonquin for the past 2 years and am currently in the final year of my program. I enjoy research projects that allow me to learn about new and interesting topics. I tend to strive in presentations that involve public speaking and presenting my findings to an audience.

I also work a retail job on the side. I have been working this job since May of 2008, where I started as a part time worker starting his first real job. Since then, my hard work and dedication have allowed me to advance within the company to a full time employee with a supervisor roll.

When I'm not working or studying, I like to be outdoors doing activies such as sports, and fishing. I'm an avid sports fan with hockey being my favorite, and of course the Ottawa Senators being my team.
