Emmanuel Phiri (Born August 3 2006), known professionally as *Thrd Gawd*, is a Zambian rapper, singer, and songwriter. He emerged from Lusaka’s hip hop scene with a style blending street narratives, introspective lyricism, and hard-hitting delivery.
Thrd Gawd began gaining attention in Zambia’s underground circuit following the release of his debut singles in. His music draws influence from both Southern African storytelling traditions and global trap, often addressing themes of hustle, faith, and life in Lusaka. He is currently an independent artist, with a growing catalog distributed across major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and Audiomack.
His stage name, “Thrd Gawd,” references his belief in representing a new wave of Zambian rap — positioning himself as part of a “third coming” for the genre in the region.
