Hey there!
I am a stay-at-home mama to two beautiful kiddos: Max, 3, and Myla, 1. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we are so in love with our perfect country life. I use the word perfect lightly....but most days it's pretty great.
My passions are crafting, baking, reading magazines, making endless lists and spending time with my family. I truly believe all of these are best enjoyed with a glass of wine.
My dream is to go back to school and have a satisying career in health care while I watch my family grow. That's about as far as I've dreamed. I have a bit of white-picket-fence syndrome.
In the meantime, I am content focusing on the little apples of my eye.
Myla is the most hilarious little ham you will ever meet. She is always trying to make people smile and although she hasn't popped out any words yet, she has mastered the "evil laugh". Most days I imagine it to mean...Muahaha, mommy I just rubbed yogurt all over your microfiber couches! She's a strong little cookie. Diagnosed with laryngomalacia at 4 weeks old, she's still working on getting that whole breathing thing down pat, but she is the only little girl I know who won't let sickness get in the way of her fun! Some of our blond haired, blue eyed cutie's faves right now are Dora the Explorer and fancy shoes. We're in trouble with this little diva already and we know it ;).
My main man Max, is well....Max. Everyone that knows him explains it that way. There just 'aint another kid like him! He is always on the go causing some ruckus and if he isn't zooming past you, then you can probably find him on the couch blowing through yet another puzzle. He's a whiz. Max is the proud owner of a sensory processing disorder. Our life at the moment revolves around his special needs and working on having him assessed for anxiety and ADHD. It's changed us immensely as a family, and I hope to share alot of this journey with you.
So I've got my hands full...but I've got the best support a girl can have.
My husband is ridiculously great every day of his life. He works his butt off to support us at a job that, let's face it, is just a "job" most days. When he's not building elevators, he loves being outdoors.
So that's me. There is more I'll share along the way with you, and ALOT more that I have yet to learn about myself.
For now...I'm just trying to find perfection in the present.
