Thyag Satgoor

Thyag Satgoor is a South African native who immigrated to the United States in December 2000. He arrived in the States at age 19 with just 400 bucks in his pocket! This was enough to get him started as he was fueled by BIG dreams, ambition and a vision to stay in the US. He has certainly lived up to the meaning of his name “Thyag” which in Sanskrit means “Sacrifice”. Thyag has made several sacrifices in his pursuit of the American Dream most notably being away and not seeing his immediate family for over 10years! He has had progressive growth in the hospitality industry, starting his career at the "Happiest Place on Earth", Walt Disney World as a Cultural Representative taking guests through the Safari attraction at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park. Throughout his career he has partnered with progressive brands and individuals to achieve personal and professional success. At age 29 he joined the Executive Committee and Leadership Team with Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando as Director of Conference & Catering. Thyag enjoys working on his classic car collection a 66 Ford Mustang, 67 VW Beetle “Rat Rod” & an 81 VW Pickup Truck. He enjoys a fit lifestyle, art as well as food & traveling, his philosophy is to try something once and to be able to say “I did that!” is a fulfilling experience for him. Thyag Satgoor currently resides in Orlando, FL.
