I was born in a small town where there was not even a welcome sign. The smell of oak trees and manuer filled your nose with a pungent scent as you came into the lovely town of Vanndale. Though, the town was small. The scenery was an expanse of beauty. Trees and trees of evergreen surounded the outskirts of the town, enclosing it like a fence.

I would often wake up to the humming and whistling of birds: doves and Eastern Phoebes. I believe my surroundings often inspired my love for creativity (or rather that I was born with a creative mindset).

I fell in love with photography through the yearbook staff at my high school. I enjoyed capturing moments, expressions, and memories that people would look back on and be reminded of their emotions at the time period.

When I look at trees or old houses, I don't just see objects that don't have meaning or significance. It's difficul,t to explain, but when I see those things, it's like I see them in a different way than others. I see a story first and then I try to think of how this tree or house came to be. Was this tree planted by God's hands? or did a farmer plant this tree with his son? Or was this tree struck by lighting? Is that why it was cut down?

There are many things about art that inspire me to pursue a career in it. Currently, I'm a photography major at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

Other than photography, I love to write! I write poetry, stories, and journals. I just love coming up with ideas and spending time writing it. I guess writing and photography are both great interests to have when it comes to creativity!

I love it :)
