I just bought an old house which needs home improvement work done on it. I was thinking of hiring a contractor to remove the carpet on the floors so I can see the natural wood underneath. I love the uniqueness of this old house and want to restore it to its original state. I am thinking of also buying antique furniture so it will have the feel of a 1920's house. :)
