I'm a 50-something, creative woman, living in central Florida, with a lot of time on my hands. No kids, but a three-year-old lab/shepherd named Bullet who thinks he's human.

I run a business and am active in my church. I'm also a proud member of Daughters of the American Revolution, www.dar.org, since 2006. Finding my patriotic roots has taken me on an amazing journey that has recently lead me to blogging.

Oh, and that handsome man in the photo...that's my dad. Love him more than I can describe.
