Mother, Artist, and Writer in Saint George, Utah

Read my blog

When I say I'm an artist, I mean that I'm a visual artist, singer, pianist, violinist, and creative writer. I own an art business and plan to grow it from website-only to including a location to build the arts in the community.

And writer can mean a few things, too. I'm a creative writer. I love writing poetry, short stories, and hope to write some novels someday. But mostly I contribute to two main blogs. One is for my art website (artsmithproject.com) and one is for me (genialrenaissancegal.wordpress.com).

And anyone with a mother knows motherhood turns you into a nurse, maid, cook, baker, waiter, chauffeur, psychiatrist, accountant, secretary, judge, mediator, teacher, etc.

When I was measured at the doctor, I expressed my concern that I am shorter than I used to be. The nurse laughed and said, "That's what kids do to you. They suck the life out of you!" While that statement makes me laugh, I don't regret my children one bit. I love motherhood. It's the hardest, but best thing I've ever done.

These three things are just three portions of my many-faceted life. As you read my blog (GenialRenaissanceGal), you will see more of the picture and hopefully glean some humor, beauty, and insight unique to me.
