Every year, Tiffany Dickerson known by her stage name Mic Chick, touches thousands of people every year at various events across the country with her unique brand of clean, fresh, inspirational and relevant comedy. In 2014, she self-promoted and self-funded the live taping of her sold out one woman comedy explosion, I’m About 2 POP and her second comedy show, Let Me Tell You Something. She followed those events with a three-city comedy tour, Still Standing and a five-city tour, Last Laugh. She is also a dynamic and highly sought after motivational speaker, host and emcee who will customize her performance to entertain audiences, while meeting the needs of the client.

Dickerson is an award-winning communications and public relations professional with more than 19 years of experience in media relations, governmental affairs and community engagement. Her core areas of expertise are strategic planning, marketing, advertising, crisis communications, brand management, special projects, events planning along with social media platforms and website development.

Dickerson earned a bachelor of arts in mass communications and a master’s degree in social science, both from Southern University. Her professional affiliations include the Public Relations Association of Louisiana, Southern Public Relations Federation, Women In Media Baton Rouge, and National Association of Black Journalists. She recently received the prestigious Women in Media Award of Excellence for small business owner/marketer of the year.

Dickerson, a proud Baton Rouge native, is heavily involved with several civic organizations. She is an active member of the Junior League of Baton Rouge. Dickerson served as the 2012 Baton Rouge Chair for the American Diabetes Association’s Step Out: Walk To Stop Diabetes joining others across the city in raising close to $100,000.

She is a former dancer and has toured and performed with numerous R&B groups. In 2016, she was crowned Mrs. Baton Rouge and in 2017 was 3rd runner-up in the Mrs. Louisiana America pageant. Dickerson is also a writer, model and owner of Juicy Drop Jewelry, LLC. She is married and the mother of two young children.
