Tiffany Kettermann
I am an advocate, a counselor, and a resource specialist who believes in the empowerment of people through connection with one another, and through cultivating a healthy body, mind, and soul. It is a great honor to share in the journey of others as they navigate through difficult circumstances
My interests include health related trauma, chronic pain, disability issues, domestic violence, ADHD, and other trauma. Additionally, I have experience in a community mental health setting, in alcohol and drug treatment, and crisis work.
My treatment approach is cognitive behavioral with an interest in acceptance commitment therapy and reality therapy. I also have special interest in the neurobiology of trauma and attachment theory. I have completed additional doctoral level coursework in psychometrics, administering and interpreting the WAIS-IV, MMPI and PAI, intake, treatment planning, exposure-based anxiety treatments, psychopathology, and theoretical approaches.
Prior to counseling, I had a previous career and 20 years experience in non-profit administration, marketing and public relations with national Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) and a Masters in Public Affairs (Public Administration concentration).
