Hired to improve brand awareness, Tiffany has returned to The Art Institute of Washington as Director of Campus Relations. She will be in-charge of community engagement and partnerships for the creative arts college. Prior to returning to AiW, she was the Public Relations Manager at American Public University System (APUS), where she was responsible for providing media relations expertise for an online institution with over 100,000 students and 3,000 faculty members. She previously worked at The Center for Political and Economic Studies after a brief career as a Journalist at The Gazette.
Tiffany is the is a former board member of the National Black Public Relations Society and has held previous board member positions with the Public Relations Society Association National Capital Chapter (PRSA-NCC), and the Northern Virginia Urban League Young Professionals Network (YPN).
For the past three years, she has dedicated her space time by volunteering with Red Pump Project, a nonprofit organization raising awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS on women and girls. She has successfully managed to secure two Proclamation Day celebrations during the leadership of two DC Mayors.
In addition, she has opened the doors to the entrepreneurship world and is a Stylist with Stella & Dot, an online fashion and accessories boutique company. She frequently hosts in-home trunk shows for clients.
Graduating cum laude from Virginia State University, she majored in Mass Communications and completed a graduate certificate program in Public Relations from the University of Virginia School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
