Just a little Ramsey story about Tiffany Ireland: In 2003, when I started in real estate I was really scared and excited at the same time because as a single mother of 2 young children I was used to getting a weekly paycheck. As a real estate agent, we earn commissions, which is an irregular income and only earned when a sale closes. At the time I had an equity line of credit on my home and when real estate was slow I would use that line of credit to keep up on my monthly bills. I always felt like I couldn't get ahead with money. However, In 2009 I took Financial Peace University & realized what a mistake I was making! Immediately I paid off my line of credit, created a 6 month emergency fund and now own my home free and clear and have no debt. Thank you Dave! I have so much freedom around money and peace of mind. It is truly one of the best feelings in the world!
