Ever since I was a little girl, I always liked to dream big. As I grew older some dreams changed and I no longer wanted to be a fashion designer, a lawyer, or a teacher. After I made it my dream school - The Florida State University - I realized I was meant to be in sports.

In my first sports job, I covered the retirement of Bobby Bowden and that was a big turning point for me. When I looked at Coach Bowden and the precious work he did - not with football, but with people - I knew that no matter what career I had, by the end of it, I wanted to have a tremendous impact on others. I eventually found my niche in public relations - a field that I absolutely love - and every day I work to become a better PR professional.

Outside of sports, I love working with kids and I am very passionate about education reform. The achievement gap needs to be closed and somehow, somewhere, one day God's going to realize this dream of mine.
