Tiffany Wiggins, PhD
professor, coach, and Consultant in Raleigh, NC
Hello, I'm Dr. Tiffany Wiggins, coastal Virginia native and North Carolina Triangle resident. I have over a decade of professional experience as not only a higher education practitioner-scholar, but also an advocate for transformative mentorship and relational leadership practices for and amongst Black women. I earned my Ph.D. in Education Leadership (emphasis on Higher Education) from Old Dominion University; my dissertation examined the lived experiences and mentoring relationships of Black women student affairs administrators.
I am a Clinical Assistant Professor of Organizational Learning and Leadership and practitioner-scholar. I'm also the Founder of Village Noire, the Board Chair of Cohort Sistas, and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Additionally, as an ICF-certified life, career and academic coach (ACC), I am fortunate to partner with individuals, groups, and organizations through my coaching & consulting practice. Using a human-centered and design thinking approach, I guide clients toward clarity and progress on their personal, professional, and academic journeys.
Beyond my professional experiences, I am the proud mother of a teenage daughter, and an enthusiast of travel, collecting denim jackets (hello! I am a millennial), trying new restaurants, listening to pop culture podcasts, and people-watching at the airport and local coffee shop :)
