Susanne Pfeifer

I am a final year DPhil student at the Life Science Interface of the Doctoral Training Centre at the University of Oxford. I joined the group of Professor Gilean McVean in the Department of Statistics where I was presented with the amazing opportunity to gain a better understanding of the nature of mutation rates and variation within as well as between human and chimpanzee genomes using data generated by high throughput sequencers.
