Tif Hassler

Nashville, TN

Hello! My name is Tif Hassler and I am a producer based in Nashville, TN.

My career in film production began unexpectedly with a B.A. in Psychology from Asbury University and a M.S. in Higher Education from The Florida State University. I worked at various universities, advising student programming boards, coordinating major events, negotiating contracts, and managing concerts and performances for Mackelmore & Ryan Lewis, Kendrick Lamar, Sara Bareilles, Gavin DeGraw, Lupe Fiasco, and Gym Class Heroes among others. My history as an event planner for world-renowned artists and comedians made it an easy transition into film.

Since 2012, I have been a freelance producer working on feature narratives and documentaries, commercials, short films, and content for the web and mobile devices. My client list includes Olay Fresh Effects, Kleenex, Toyota 100 Cars for Good, TLC among many others.

My first narrative feature, award winning, HOMELESS is currently on the festival circuit. Filmed in a real homeless shelter with real homeless people, HOMELESS tells the story of a teenage boy who navigates his way through life in a shelter after the passing of his grandmother.

I am also in post production on STL, a documentary that chronicles the lives and struggles of three African American youth in inner-city St. Louis in the months leading up to and following the death of teenager Michael Brown.

Everyday I dream and work alongside my best friend & husband, director Clay Riley Hassler -- we call it an #everydayworkdate.
