Tilak Rajakaruna

I’am Tilak Rajakaruna (60+) Married with Sunila Poholiyadda.We have two sons and a daughter; Elder son(Married to Dr. Gayani) is employed as an Engineer while the Daughter, Shalini is reading for PhD in University of Peradeniya. Younger son works for God as a full time youth worker in Youth for Christ(YFC). We live in the outskirts of Kandy, the second largest city of Sri Lanka. My beloved wife, Sunila and I come from a staunch Buddhist background.

Miraculous God Converted us to be Christians having a great testimony in our Lord Jesus Christ. I'm retired from the Univerrsity of Peradniya, where I have Completed a Service of25Years As my third carier, Senior staff Technical Officer after leaving school,while Sunila is a home maker.

Besides these wonderful life changing experience, I have to keep going with hiderance but closer to Lord Jesus, after a serious brain surgery underwent in 2004 October,which caused to totally paralytic and now getting gradual recovery in exercises,psiotheraphy etc, still remain some partially(left side) disabilities . As unbalanced standing, I Manage to get around with the aid of a stick, Left hand is stiffened and not able to get straightened, fingers are curled and can not get straightned. Still I’am in some hard with my day to day work. In the grace of my Lord Jesus. I was able to attend back the office in University since 2005/12/22 to 07/03/2009. However I did have to terminate my job reluctantly even before the 'retirement age' as the Head of the Department was looking for a Physically capable one instead of me. Yes! University got rid of this 'disabled' person. I'm retired now. God's plan turned me again to a New 'Differentlyabled' Life!

Now My work involves translating books and articles from English to the native Language(Sinhala) and web designing. where He used me to design the first ever website for Holy Bible in Sri Lankan Languages

I thank Lord Jesus who Strengthen me in faith every moment with wonderful experience of His Love
