My wanderlust and desire to explore has led me to spend the last eight years living in Australia, Switzerland, Lithuania and Spain, as well as travelling to many other spots along the way, though now I am back in. the UK. After several winters working in Switzerland and summers farming in the UK, I took up training as an airline pilot in 2019, seeking to leave the seasonal lifestyle behind. Health issues and coronavirus set me back significantly but I persevered and gained my EASA Frozen ATPL in June 2023. I am now seeking my first aviation role to set foot in the industry and continue my learning journey.

I'm constantly on the lookout for better and more varied income streams, as the last couple of years have proven just how unstable the jobs market can be. I believe in the potential of cryptocurrencies to disrupt the current state of affairs and to provide a way to beat rising inflation and secure long term financial gains. However, it's also an area riddled with scams and huge risks, so there is a lot to learn.

I love both photography and writing, even if my knowledge doesn't currently match my enthusiasm. I'm working on it and enjoy the process, as well as editing and improving shots once taken, and just writing about my travels. I am fascinated by different languages (my French slowly improved in Switzerland, I am now working on fixing up my Spanish, and dabble in a couple of others too), love good food and drink, being outside and the catharsis of a tough work-out.

While aviation is the industry that has called to me for a long time, until I can find my dream role to get me off the ground, I am open to exploring new opportunities in any field that can widen my horizons.
