I am 32 years old and work FT as a Paramedic in San Antonio, I further volunteer part time with my local emergency management office and CERT Team. I am also working to become a volunteer Fire Fighter so that I can obtain the certifications needed to go professional. Educationaly I attend Columbia Southern University where i am working to complete a Bachelors in Fire Science, after which I plan to obtain a Masters in Emergency Management (hopefully completed by spring of 2016). I earned my A.A.S as a Paramedic from San Antonio College and was named the programs Distinguished Graduate in 2012. I have also been a member of Phi Theta Kappa, the National Honor Society, since my induction in April of 2012. I am a professional member of the International Association of Emergency Managers, the International Code Council, and the National Fire Protection Agency I also hold many emergency management, emergency medical, and fire certifications. Personally I am a home body that enjoys spending most of the time at home studying, sleeping, or hanging out with Angie my wonderful wife and Lilly my beautiful daughter. I have many hobbies I make my own beer, I like to read, I love electronics, I enjoy camping, and I really enjoy volunteering and community service.
