Tima tapped into her creativity a few years ago when she started to customize trendy jewelry using natural elements such as various types of wood in addition to leather and suede. Her wearable art was in high demand. It was then that Design By U Jewelry was born.

In addition to being known for her Art, she is easily identified by her crown. Tima has been a Naturalista for 19 years! Ever since her big chop many years ago, February 2014 was the first time she cut her hair other than getting an occasional trim. She then started to share her 'How To' Natural Hair suggestions and photos with her family and friends on Facebook. It then grew into something bigger than great hair photos. She captured the attention of many worldwide with her hair care regimen suggestions and pictorials.

She is now ready to take it a step further and educate & share with as many as possible through her website, her YouTube Channel and other social media sites.

With her family being from Ghana, she takes pride in expressing herself through her culture and many art forms.
