Tim Case loves building things with the Ruby programming language. He's currently obsessed with the intersection between music and programming and is working on things like a ruby wrapper to the Echonest API. Professionally, he works for End Point Corporation helping their clients use the web to accomplish things like ecommerce or document management.
In the very early days of RubyonRails , Tim was one of the first to discover the fast productivity enabled by Rails. Although happy to be identified as a rubyist it's not the language that's important to him but the pursuit of programming really well. He happily continues to study object oriented programming, and the principles of building software as a way to support a lifelong passion for learning new things. This year he hopes to learn development on mobile devices and find out what is all the fuss about the new javascript based frameworks like Angular and Backbone. Additionally, he's currently in the process of making the switch from textmate to Vim, but admits to having more than a passing curiousity about emacs.
