Tim Coffield is a practicing attorney in Charlottesville, Virginia. In 2012 he founded Coffield PLC, his solo legal practice providing aggressive and personalized legal representation to individuals and businesses in central and western Virginia.

In 2010 he worked for Trout Unlimited, a national water conservation organization as Law Clerk for the California Water Project. The following year of law school, he was a Law Fellow in the Eastern Conservation Program at Trout Unlimited. Tim Coffield assisted with legal and regulatory matters concerning the impact of natural gas development on aquatic habitats and worked on the advocacy side of the issue as well.
