Asbury Park New Jersey’s own Time Marches On is more than just your typical alternative band from the Jersey Shore with two beautiful girls fronting it. They are also quite possibly the the most moving bands in the region.
TMO (Time Marches On) are living proof that raw talent, ambition and honesty can still prevail in an ailing music industry. What else would explain a blossoming career that has found dozens of shows, thousands of downloads of a signal with no major distribution, and enough of a regional fan base to directly impact their freshmen touring plans?
By aligning their unwavering dedication to the do-it-yourself work ethic with a signature sound, singer/guitarist Sasha Alexander, bassist Jerry Franklin, drummer Nicholas A., and keyboardist/Vocals Farrah Alexander are helping to define the landscape of today’s indie-rock music scene. The backbone of their work? Stylistically eclectic songs—suggesting a range of influences from Pink Floyd to Arcade Fire, their mix of unashamed rock riffs, lush synths and funky bass bottom supporting their energetic vocal delivery is infectious.
In 2013 TMO released a signal through Reverbnation that recently earned them a top ten chart ranking called “A Beautiful Life”, oddly it was their own remix of the song that took off selling more than 5,000 streaming down loads of a debut signal and they will continue to enter and win various song writing contests.
It was a up hill battle at first, but with the postings of some amazing renditions of classic tune from Squeeze(Pulling Mussels) and Cameo’s(Shake Your Pants) and some others the Youtube Music searchers fell in love with Time Marches On.

Today Time Marches On performs a powerful set featuring huge guitar riffs sweeping synths with a bass/drums locomotive drive that makes folk move .TMO have been on retreat these last few months writing like crazed poets.
