Tim French
Brookfield, WI
My name is Tim French, but am also known by my more appropriate nickname Timo Supremo. The nickname was given to me during a high school service trip to the Dominican Republic. It has stuck ever since.
I am currently studying Sports Leadership and Marketing in a graduate program at Marquette University. When I am not studying or researching my professional research project that is focuses on gender differences that exist amongst sports fans in relation to social media, there are a number of places that you can find me. Depending on the time and day of the week, I may be in Chicago visiting my girlfriend, working out or playing basketball at the gym, playing PS3, at the movies, watching a TV show that I am currently hooked on, or playing with my golden doodle named Topper. The only consistent thing that I do on a daily basis (other than shower) is read about sports, watch sports, and talk about sports. Sports is my own true passion.
While I am a die-hard Wisconsin sports fan (a true homer to everything Wisco), I also do enjoy reading about non-Wisconsin sports heroes and teams and watch any game that is televised or entertaining. Right now I am just beginning a book entitled Playing for Keeps by David Halberstam, which is suppose to be one of the best biographies of Michael "Air" Jordan ever written. Some recent books that I have read and enjoyed are When Pride Still Mattered, Bart Starr: America's Quarterback and the Rise of the NFL, In Cold Blood, and Moneyball.
Ultimately, when it is all said and done, it is all about my beloved Packers, Brewers, Bucks, Billikens, Golden Eagles, and Badgers. Not to mention my Marquette University High School Hilltoppers. I am always online in one way or another, and check my Twitter, Facebook, and other social media accounts regularly. Contact me if you would like to chat about sports, great TV shows, a new movie, or anything else.
