Tim Gorman is an Azure data engineer at Microsoft.

He has co-authored six books on database technology since 1998, performed technical review on eight books over a similar period, was an Oracle ACE since 2007 and was an Oracle ACE Director since 2012, and is now Oracle ACE alumnus since 2019.

He is president of the board of Project SafeGuard Foundation (PSGF) which manages funds in trust for Project SafeGuard (PSG), a non-profit organization fighting domestic abuse in the Denver metro area.

He is a past board member of the Rocky Mtn Oracle Users Group (RMOUG) and the Oracle Developer Tools Users Group (ODTUG), and an adviser to the boards of the Northern California Oracle Users Group (NoCOUG) and the Northeast Ohio Oracle Users Group (NEOOUG).

He is a member of the Oak Table Network since 2002, has an author's page on Amazon, and has presented at Microsoft, Oracle, and test data management conferences in lots of beautiful places around the world.
