Tim Hilde has many passions in his life but as he tried different things, he realized which ones he enjoys the most. Leadership is a topic researched by many experts and it is a complex attribute to say the least. There has always been the question if people are born leaders or if they can learn to become one.

Leaders can be found in different disciplines but the most prominent are the leaders found in businesses. Think about the amount of leaders it takes to run a company, especially larger ones where it takes a few in each department such as sales, human resources, accounting and the people they have to report back to. If you think about it, anyone in any position can lead no matter your rank in a company.

According to Tim Hilde, there are seven key attributes in leadership. Humility is a trait that can be consistently found in leaders of the most successful companies. It is a fact that people do not generally like to follow a leader who is filled with too much pride in themselves. In addition, humble leaders tend to give as much as possible to employees without seeking much in return but success in the company.

In most business schools, they teach students about ethical and moral behavior. Leaders should know the direction to take when they are making a decision and chose to do the right thing. It can sometimes be easy to get swayed to making unethical choices for monetary gain and to satisfy shareholders but people want to follow leaders they trust and know the direction or the company. An organization's culture has a lot to do with the values of its leaders.
