Timm Albers has been appointed as a Professor for Inclusive Education at the University of Paderborn in January 2014. After graduating from Leibniz University of Hanover (2nd state examination) he has worked as a teacher at a school for children with special educational needs.

Timm lectured at the department of Inclusive Education at the Leibniz University of Hanover, where he completed his dissertation titled "Language acquisition and Interaction in German Kindergartens" in 2008.

He teaches nationally and internationally in Paderborn, Karlsruhe, Landau, Berlin and Bolzano/Italy.

His main research interests lie in the fields of Inclusive Education in schools and early childhood education as well as in (second) language acquisition, peer-interaction and early childhood intervention.

Timm is a member of several german-wide expert groups in the field of inclusive education and fostering language acquisition. He is also a member of the international editorial boards and is counseling national and international funding organizations and ministries.
