Hi, I’m Tim.

Thanks for stopping in. Its challenging for me to write this bio about myself as I normally like to to hop into learning more about others when I first meet them. So I’m thinking I’ll ask myself the questions I’d ask when meeting someone and answer them here.

Are you from around here?

--

No, I am not from LinkedIn. I was born in Florida; moved overseas to Turkey when I was around 10; came back to Florida for university; I graduated a couple years ago and am still living in Florida.

Oh cool, you grew up in Turkey? What was that like?

--

It was awesome! I am really grateful for the experience I had growing up. I feel that being exposed to different cultures really opened my mind and shaped my understanding of everything around me. I want to live abroad again at some point in the future to continue to challenge myself and broaden my view of the world.

Sweet! So what brought you back to Florida?

--

After high school I came back to Florida for university. I attended the University of Florida and in that time started a company called MaidSuite with some awesome local business owners. Starting that business really influences how I work to this day. It taught me a lot about business, software, product development, hard work, autonomy, and more.

Good stuff. And what are you working on now?

I work at Start With Why. I work on the product team, creating software that helps people around the world discover and articulate their purpose, or WHY. My WHY is to explore the possibilities so that we can create unconventional solutions.
