Tim Monreal

I am a middle school teacher, blogger and life long learner. After spending most of my teaching career in Los Angeles, CA, I am transitioning to South Carolina to teach sixth grade World History and begin work on a PhD in Foundations of Education at the University of South Carolina. I share my education ideas on my blog, The Bearded Teacher, and through Medium. I founded a community to share project based learning called CrowdSchool, and am most interested in how pedagogy can empower all learners in a socially just manner.
