BIOGRAPHY

I believe the answer to making the world better is more complex than the non-profit/corporate binary. I'm exploring this in-between space with the hope of one day leveraging technology in developing economies.

Currently stationed under the Business Development and Sales division at Google I have helped managed relationships with Fortune 500 companies in the food and beverage industry.

I'm a music blogger at www.makingmondaysbetter.com, a site that provides one free playlist of music every Monday morning including newest tracks from genres as varied as hip hop, electronic, and indie.

I'm part of the stewarding team of the Broad Street Synagogue Revitalization Project, a real estate development project designed to alleviate the space constraint of community organizations in the South Side of Providence.

My artistic home resides in using spoken word poetry for empowerment, which has taken me to Phnom Penh, Cambodia where I worked with Bridges Across Borders to develop arts and language curricula, and AS220 where I coached the Providence Youth Slam Team to Brave New Voices.

Previously at Brown, I helped execute the Minority Peer Counselor program, an in-dorm counseling program dedicated towards fostering dialogue and workshops exploring topics such as racism, classism, sexism and heterosexism as well as an intensive four day pre-orientation.

I am also the founder and executive director of a recreational high percentage mid-range/three-point jump shot and curator of bad jokes.
