Tim Collins serves as the vice president of global logistics at Amazon, where he began in 1999. In this capacity, Tim Collins is responsible for a supply chain encompassing hundreds of thousands of Amazon employees in 20 countries.

He plays a key role in streamlining company operations, with responsibilities that include developing a dedicated internal delivery team utilizing small businesses and Amazon Flex, their on-demand "be your own boss" delivery product.

Mr. Collins began as a general manager of fulfillment and later was promoted to director of customer service operations. Rising further through the corporate ranks, he fulfilled operational roles at a regional level, then internationally in emerging markets, and later in Europe as a vice president of operations.

He left the company in 2014 to become vice president of global community operations at Uber, where he helped lead the expansion of its network from 60 cities to more than 400. Mr. Collins built and their global driver support and customer service operations, among other teams, from the ground up.

In September 2018 he will travel to Chicago for the North American Supply Chain Executive Summit and share his experiences as a featured speaker.
