Timothy Curtis

I was born in Ogden, UT in April 1972. My father was in the Air Force so we traveled a lot. I lived in Japan for three years. After spending three years in Japan, my dad was stationed here at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. Here I lived in a small town of about 400 people. I went and graduated from Bartelso elementary and later graduated from Central High School.After high school, I moved to Utah. While I was in Utah, I went on a 2yr mission for my church. I served my mission in North Carolina from 1992-1994. When I came home off my mission I moved back to Illinois. Here I met my future wife and got married in March 1995 in the Chicago Illinois Temple. In November of 1997 I entered the Armed Forces. I did basic training at Ft. Jackson, SC. Then did my initial training at Ft. Lee, VA. My first assignment was Ft. Drum, NY. There I started the learning process of Food Service. After staying there for almost 2yrs, I was then transferred to Ft. Richardson, AK. I ended up serving 13 plus years in the military. Deploying twice to Iraq. After serving in the Army, my family and I moved back to Illinois to be closer to our family.
