As my headline suggests, I'm a librarian who lives in the great city of Chicago. I work at the Lisle Library District as the Assistant Director of Technical Services. It's a pretty cool place! I do traditional librarian things there like cataloging and collection development, but I also work on projects related to social media and digital librarianship. I'm interested in the cataloging and classification of old and rare books as well. I worked on this project while employed at the University of Illinois.
