Timothy is a Media, Technology and Telecommunication Crusader, Enthusiast and Practitioner with a bias for commercial and leadership facets. His key strengths are innovation, optimization of organization resources and driving performance in turn around projects. He served in various capacities and roles for over 14 years in the Media and Marketing industry. He has amassed relevant knowledge, skills and attitudes that put him on a pedestal in delivering value to organizations.

He is the immediate former Nation Media’s Group General Manager, Broadcast Radio Division, role he served on acting capacity till the decision to divest from the business was reached as a change of Group strategy. During his tenure, he steered the digital innovation strategy that placed the radio stations on digital platform. This strategy was aligned to the group strategy of digital first. Another key initiative he launched during his tenure was championing the convergence of organizational operations successfully integrating the Radio commercial and editorial teams to the larger organization teams. He also championed key partnerships with Universities, Professional bodies and public entities to spread the footprint and influence of the organization. This partnership demonstrated his appreciation of mentorship and he actively championed it within the organization. His leader as coach skills were evident as he helped navigate the department and keep teams focused till the last minute when the business decision taken to divest from the radio broadcast unit was announced.

Timothy is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Certified Organizational Effectiveness Coach and Chartered Institute of Marketing -CIM Chartered Marketer. He is currently pursing PHD Studies in Corporate Governance at International Leadership University and holds a Masters in Organizational Leadership from the same university. He Holds a Bachelors Degree in Special Education and Mathematics from Maseno University and two other Post Graduate Diplomas in Marketing from CIM UK and Public Relations from ICM - UK
