Timothy Anthony

Timothy Anthony @ Timothydames is a DJ/Producer/Mix Engineer hailing from Sabah, Malaysia, grew up in the suburbs of Subang Jaya and currently temporarily residing in Melbourne, Australia. Growing in a musically inclined household, Timothy was influenced by music from all walks of life, and it was only at 10 years of age when he first discovered Electronic Music and by the age of 14 he taught himself to DJ and at the age of 15 landed his first gig for a school event. Fast forward 3 years after he landed his first residency in a local pub and enrolled himself in the prestigious international School of Audio Engineering – SAE Institute Malaysia. In the beginning, he pursued his love for DJ-ing only as a hobbyist performing only for private parties etc. Slowly gaining recognition, he was offered opportunities to perform for college events and also corporate functions before quickly moving into the bar/club scene.

Along the way he and long time buddy DJ Jeff formed tag team known as Lost Boys. Together they took on events and parties around Kuala Lumpur. After much recognition Timothy joined BOOM RECORDS and since then have been actively involved himself in the nightlife scene around the Klang Valley. In his stairway to music discovery, he realises his passion for electronic sounds of Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Deep House, Tech House, Funk and Disco and developed the knowledge and flow of commercial sounds of R&B, Retro, Hip Hop and Top 40s.

Timothy has been seen DJ-ing at some of Malaysia's best rooftop bars/clubs, working with big companies like Red Bull and having developed experience through a variety of shows from club nights, corporate functions to outdoor events, he has developed a unique style combining music selection with mixing techniques to create a flow that will keep people coming back for more. Quickly gaining popularity in the industry, Timothy is definitely on of the upcoming acts to follow.

Currently an undergraduate at SAE Institute Melbourne, Timothy has shown great potential in beat making and as well as a mixing engineer and is continuing to pursue his career as a Record Producer and Mixing Engineer. His works has received many great feedbacks from many other artist and industry pioneers.
