Timothy Eze
Student and Impactful Leader in Lagos, Nigeria
Meet Timothy Eze (TCHIEF)
Timothy Eze, popularly known as TCHIEF, is a 300-Level Pharmacology student in the Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences whose passion for leadership is rooted in service, communication, and student development.
Over the years, Timothy has built a reputation as someone who creates value beyond the classroom. As a returning Student Representative Council (SRC) member and a former member of the Budget, Finance and Spending Committee, he has gained practical insight into student representation, collaborative leadership, and the workings of the Students' Union. These experiences have strengthened his belief that effective leadership begins with listening and grows through accountability.
Recognizing that modern communication demands more than simply passing information, Timothy has intentionally developed his expertise in digital communication and strategic media, completing professional training such as Mastering Social Media Marketing Strategy.
He is also the founder of Quiz Arena, an educational platform that has engaged thousands of students through interactive learning, while organically building a vibrant online community. His commitment to knowledge sharing has also helped him grow a professional network of almost 3,000 LinkedIn followers, connecting with students, academics, and professionals across diverse fields.
Yet, beyond every role, qualification, and achievement lies a simple conviction: leadership is about people…
That conviction forms the foundation of his vision for the office of Director of Information and Publicity (DIP/PRO), UNIMEDSU. His campaign is built on three enduring pillars—Voice, Visibility, and Value—with a commitment to amplifying student voices, strengthening communication between the union and students, and celebrating the achievements that make the UNIMED community exceptional.
For Timothy, communication is more than announcements. It is the bridge that connects ideas, builds trust, inspires participation, and strengthens community.
.His aspiration is clear: to help build a UNIMEDSU where every student is heard, every student is informed, and every student is celebrated.
