Tim Hainey

Welcome to my profile! My name is Tim and I am a Supplier Performance Analyst at the greatest airline on Earth, Southwest Airlines (Southwest). The group I belong to provides performance data and analyses on current and prospective suppliers in order to manage costs, alleviate risks and drive continuous improvement.

Great strategy requires accurate, timely, readable information. At Southwest, my team makes it our daily duty to make such information readily available for our internal use as well for our maintenance stakeholders using tools such as SQL, Alteryx, Excel, Tableau and PowerPoint.

My near future career steps will include gaining experience in greater technical tools and analysis including data modeling and predictive analytics. The future is in reading the future and I want to be a part of this next wave of innovative analysis.

I would also like to build on the operations experience I have gained throughout my career. I am currently studying at the University of Texas at Dallas to complete an MBA and a Masters of Science in Business Analytics with a minor in operations research.

On the personal side, I love playing tennis, mountain biking, fitness, pretty much anything outdoors, BBQ, Sunday afternoon football and the great state of Texas.
