An expert in the domestic and global commercial real estate and hospitality markets, Timothy Haskin currently serves as President and founder of Peninsula Real Estate, LLC. For more than 35 years, Mr. Haskin has worked in the real estate finance business, having primarily been associated with the hospitality industry. At his New York City based firm, Timothy Haskin acquires and repositions hospitality and commercial properties in major urban markets, including New York, San Francisco, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
Mr. Haskin has completed a number of multifaceted hotel, retail, residential, and office transactions throughout his career. Since 1993, he has been affiliated with multiple projects, the transactions from which have totaled more than $5 billion. These projects include the Sheraton Warsaw Hotel in Poland, the Warner Center Marriott Woodland Hills in Los Angeles, The Westin New York at Times Square, EWalk Retail and, Beekman Tower Hotel in New York and the Ritz Carlton in San Francisco.
Earning an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with certificates in Real Estate and Finance Mr. Haskin is a graduate of the Edwin L. Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Mr. Haskin launched his professional career by taking positions with Citicorp Real Estate, Inc., and Chase Manhattan Bank's Real Estate Finance Group.
Before founding Peninsula, Mr. Haskin served as Partner, Managing Director, and Executive Vice President of lodging and real estate firm Tishman Hotel Corporation for nearly 13 years. In this role, Mr. Haskin directed Tishman’s property acquisitions, while raising capital for its major holdings. He also completed third-party contracts for the company as Hotel Operator, Hotel Advisor, and Hotel Asset Manager.
When not at work, Mr. Haskin enjoys golfing, tennis, traveling, and spending time with his family.
