Timothy Kramer has spent decades with energy firms in Houston, TX, and beyond, during which he has primarily held leadership roles. As a former chief commercial officer with Conectiv Energy, Timothy Kramer created a real-time risk reporting initiative which included backcasting and profitability tracking.
Following the Calpine asset divestiture, he oversaw the liquidation process for Conectiv’s residual portfolio. After this, he joined the Blackstone Group, where he served as Dynegy Acquisition’s prospective chief commercial officer.
Mr. Kramer served in the position for a year, during which he created the company’s long-term hedging strategy. He also oversaw cost-cutting measures, such as reducing personnel staff. He subsequently joined Cargill Energy Marketing in Houston, TX, where he was head of structured origination.
In the position, Timothy Kramer was responsible for standardizing hedging and stress techniques, pricing methodologies, and deal valuation tools. Following this, he rejoined the Blackstone Group as its energy commodity commercial lead.
At the same time he served as Kindle Energy’s chief commercial officer, serving in both roles for five years.
