Timothy Lynskey

Timothy Lynskey began his career in the construction industry as an Apprentice of carpentry in 1990. After completing the four-year apprenticeship program at The New York City District Council of Carpenters’ Labor Technical College, he was promoted to Journey-Level Carpenter in 1994. Timothy Lynskey’s newly attained Journey-Level Carpenter status allowed him to work in numerous areas. From rough carpentry and framing to intricate acoustical ceilings and customized interior finishes, Timothy Lynskey had skills in all types of building. He also performed the complex work of aluminum, wood, and steel work on windows and doors, gaining abilities that would be invaluable in his career. Having mastered these hands-on techniques, Timothy Lynskey became a Supervisor for the Olympic Electrical Wiring Corp in Brooklyn, New York, in 1996. Acting as the Office Manager, he was responsible for estimating project costs, supervising labor, calculating accounts, and ordering building materials. In 1998, Timothy Lynskey accepted a position of Field Supervisor for a construction company in Brooklyn, New York. Spending his time in the field rather than in the office, he directed more than 35 public construction projects. Spanning 3 years, these assignments included more than 10,000 heavy commercial window installations, all under Timothy Lynskey’s leadership. Motivated by his success directing window installation, Timothy Lynskey, along with his father, Peter Lynskey, decided to start a company. In 2001, he became the Director of Operations of Brooklyn's Extreme Windows Corp., where he conducted heavy commercial aluminum window and door projects. Whether a job required renovation or new construction, Extreme Windows Corp. was a dependable resource in the tri-state area. In 2005, Timothy Lynskey took a new role as Senior Sales Executive at Extreme Windows Corp. Again spending the majority of his time in the field, he oversaw crews of ironworkers, glaziers, carpenters, and laborers. In July of 2007, Timothy Lynskey took his expertise in window installation to new heights. Becoming a Sales Executive, Engineer, and Designer for high-rise window projects, he joined Dunway Services Corp. in Brooklyn. Now involved in every facet of the construction industry, Timothy Lynskey is a true expert.
