As an educational leader, I work hard to inspire teachers to engage students in a way that lets them lead. The days of teachers being the ones dispensing knowledge on students are gone. Teachers need to learn along side their students and allow for risk taking, frustration, and confusion to occur so that learning can happen.

I am hopeful that my influence will spread and will allow for students in my school, community and state to be inspired to take ownership in their learning.
