Timothy Storlie

Timothy A. Storlie, M.S., MSW, Ph.D., is a daydreamer. A passionate advocate for the study of the dreaming brain, Dr. Storlie has written several dream-related papers, a journal article, and developed a graduate-level course focused on the topic of daydreaming. He is also a psychologist, licensed counselor, social worker, futurist, author, and health and medical information researcher.

With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Storlie is a member of the Expert Panel of TechCast Global—a research organization that produces authoritative forecasts designed to help governments, businesses and organizations adapt to a rapidly changing world.

Dr. Storlie graduated from Saybrook University where he earned a Ph.D. in Psychology with a dual concentration—Integrative Health Studies and Consciousness and Spirituality. His dissertation was nominated for the Dissertation of Distinction Award. He also completed a post-doctoral certificate in Dream Studies. Prior to receiving his doctorate, he completed a B.S. in Education from Portland State University and two graduate degrees also from PSU—an M.S. in Special Education and an MSW in Social Work.
